Why this matters

SEO without analytics is guessing. GA4 tells you which keywords, pages, and channels actually produce revenue.

Install GA4

Create a property at analytics.google.com → install the gtag snippet or Google Tag Manager.

Traffic sources

Acquisition → Traffic acquisition. Watch Organic Search, Direct, Referral, Social.

Events & conversions

Mark key events (signup, purchase, contact-form-submit) as conversions. Everything else is vanity.

Funnels & landing pages

Explore → Funnel exploration. Landing-page report shows which URLs convert best — double down on those.

Engagement signals

Engagement rate, average engagement time, events per session — these correlate with rankings.
