Whenever income plateaus, motivation drops, or a better opportunity appears.
When NOT to use it
Don't switch tracks every 6 months — give each one 18-24 months to produce results.
How to use it
- Set your current track and your 5-year target track.
- Identify the bridge skills required (sales, ops, hiring, product, etc.).
- Run 1 portfolio project per quarter that builds the bridge skill.
- Layer tracks: e.g. Employee + Freelance on the side → Consultant → Agency.
- Review every 6 months — adjust track, not the destination.
